"What does IICRC Certified Mean?"
Since 1972, the IICRC has been certifying technical proficiency in the fields of carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, odor control, water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, and other cleaning and restoration related areas.
Schools and instructors must go through a rigorous qualification
program to attain IICRC approved status. After attending an
approved school's course, each student must pass a comprehensive
examination before they are certified in a particular area of
endeavor(s). These technicians are trained in the finer points of restoring disaster-damaged
structures and contents. With their technical expertise, these
IICRC Certified Restoration Technicians can reduce costs by
restoring surfaces that may have been replaced or
resurfaced in the past.
This certification allows for you, in your time of disaster to have every confidence, that your Restoration Technician is the best that there is.
