Hole #5The fifth hole is another hole where a lack of understanding for course management will penalize every golfer. The ideal tee shot on this 363-yard par 4 is played left of the center of the fairway, and should carry about 165 yards with a draw. If you hit it perfect, the hill will let it roll right down to about 100 yards to the center of the green. If it’s not perfect but hit well you’re ball will come to rest on a plateau about 150 yards to the center of the green. Either way you have a chance to get home unless you come up short, in which case you will be down in a ravine. A long shot left of the green will really hurt your score but could provide a visit to the Ground Round in the Berkshire Mall for a quick nerve settler.
