Berkshire Training and Employment Program The Career Resource Consortium Center of Berkshire County will prepare and encourage dislocated individuals to obtain the skills necessary to successfully re-enter the workforce. The Center's occupational training programs serve employer's needs for motivated and qualified employees with our pool of talented individuals. The Center provides the following services:

For the client:

confidential one-on-one career exploration and counseling
resume and cover letter review and preparation assistance
outreach services to employees affected by company downsizing and layoffs
workshops and center trainings
education; GED preparation
job development and job clubs
office resources
training guidance and funding
computer instruction and brush-up
interviewing skills; mock interviews
on-the-job training programs

For the employer:

prescreening and evaluation of qualified applicants
on-the-job training funds available to offset costs of new skills training
referral of applicants with a wide variety of skills
